Scope and Content

Account of Greene's missionary journeys in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, and Maine, 1833-1835, with lists of baptisms and references to companion John F. Boynton.

At end of mission to New York, Greene married Susan Kent (29 August 1835) and then participated in Kirtland Temple dedication (1836). In 1845 he served mission to Illinois and Indiana and received tithing for Nauvoo Temple. In 1852 he journeyed to Utah as captain in Jesse C. Little's company. Last volume includes Nauvoo financial accounts of his father, John P. Greene.
